Description If a view is important to you, then Bethelen is worth seeing. If a wonderful garden is important to you, Bethelen is worth seeing. If walks from the doorstep are important to you……..you get the picture. Shall we start with the view? Sorry – views? To the front is Stone Arthur and Heron Pike, to the rear, Silver How, Helm Crag and glimpses of Wetherlam, from the garden, all of the above plus Sergeant Man, Pavey Ark and Rydal Fell come into view – and we have probably skipped a few. What a panorama! And you may walk all of them (with the probable exception of Wetherlam in all honesty) from the doorstep.

The sunny, west facing rear garden is simply beautiful – private and colourful in equal measure and full of birdlife and more than the occasional visiting red squirrel.

"Bright and sunny" is a feature carried through the accommodation too. The wide entrance hall gives access first to a cloak room on your left but your eyes are already being drawn through to the sitting room with its wonderful picture window looking over the garden to the fells beyond. Double doors link to the separate dining room (again with views), with the breakfast kitchen in front. The three bedrooms also enjoy delightful views. The primary bedroom has an en-suite four piece bathroom and there is a house shower room. Below is a double garage, where some may wish to consider extending the living accommodation – whether by adding a further bedroom suite, home office, entertainment room or whatever takes your fancy (subject to any requirements or regulations being met of course). There is plenty of car parking provision on the driveway, so some may consider the garage to currently be under utilised.

Yes, in places Bethelen would stand some updating – coloured bathroom suites have yet to make a return to fashion, and some may even wish to consider some re-design – creating a wonderful "right on trend" family kitchen from the dining room and breakfast kitchen being just one of many options, but in locations such as this the potential "ceiling value" is such that such investment may reap great rewards, even if the only reward you really seek is the simple one of relaxing and admiring a magnificent view.

Come and see Bethelen for yourself, we cannot imagine you being disappointed.
