Whether you need advice on your existing home, a valuation for tax planning, inheritance tax / probate purposes, financial / matrimonial settlements, transfer of equity or if you are simply selling, buying or renting property, take professional advice from the local valuers who have many years of experience in the local property market.
Hackney & Leigh have 8 professional valuers qualified by many years of experience and including four members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, two of whom have the added distinction of being RICS Registered Valuers. All such valuations are undertaken in accordance with the RICS Valuation Standards, (known colloquially as “The Red Book”), a level recognised across the globe.
Insurance / Reinstatement Valuations
It is important that your home is adequately insured at all times. Underinsure it and you may find that you do not receive full compensation in the event of a claim, over insure and you may be paying an unnecessarily excessive premium. A reassessment is particularly valid if alterations have been carried out or if the property has not been professionally assessed for some time. Hackney & Leigh are able to provide an up to date assessment utilising the latest BCIS technology and all our considerable expertise.
Probate Valuations, Capital Gains Tax And Inheritance
Hackney & Leigh can provide residential valuations to satisfy Inland Revenue requirements for all sorts of tax issues. No matter if you are simply planning for the future, transferring equity within the family or have a deceased estate to be assessed, we have the expertise to advise you. Whether the required valuation date is today or 1982 (or beyond), we have the depth of experience and knowledge to provide the answers and written reports supplied by RICS Registered Valuers.
Hackney & Leigh provide independent valuation reports on behalf of the court for a number of clients and Family Lawyers in the unhappy event of a divorce or separation where a residential property needs to be valued.
Hackney & Leigh act as expert witnesses on a regular basis and may be able to assist and advise you should you have a dispute regarding a property or valuation matter utilising all our years of local experience and knowledge.
Valuation For Purchase
Should you be a cash buyer but do not consider a survey necessary, or have employed a surveyor but still need a valuation, we are able to provide you with expert valuation advice and a written report in accordance with the RICS Valuation Standards (The Red Book) provided by an RICS Registered Valuer with many years of local experience.
